As much as you may struggle through your loss, you should think about whether filing a wrongful death lawsuit may be the right thing to do for you and your family.
Genesis HealthCare is the largest provider of nursing home and assisted living services in the country. Its website states it operates more than 500 facilities nationwide. The company calls itself “the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services from short-term to long-term and a wide variety of living options and professional clinical services.” Though the company may consider itself a “leader,” the fact is that many of its nursing home residents needlessly suffer due to neglect by its staff.
July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, in support of those who have lost a child. Most parents never imagine life without their children, assuming they themselves will be the first to pass away. It doesn’t always work that way — some Maryland parents lose children in the years between infancy and adulthood, due to a disease or disorder, suicide, crime or accident caused by another. (more…)
